Providing counseling and therapy is more than a profession, it is my vocation. I am humbled at the opportunity to walk alongside my clients on the journey to improve their lives, and ultimately become a better version of themselves. I honor this process.
I have 10 years of professional experience working with a diverse client population. As a result of my clinical practice, I have developed an area of focus in working with female childhood trauma and abuse survivors. I have also worked in different EAP settings, in acute care, and as a Mental Health Education Specialist for Carolinas Healthcare System. I recently completed work as a researcher with the Department of Defense where I worked on a team tasked with developing a sexual assault prevention training program for male soldiers.
In addition to being a psychotherapist, I am an experienced professional trainer and speaker, contracting with companies, organizations and community groups. I facilitate workshops and customized training on topics such as stress management, cross-cultural communication, grief and loss, workplace wellness, effective time management, increasing culture competency and a variety of other topics.
